Narita Airport has three terminals. Terminal 1 and terminal 2 are directly connected to train stations and limousine bus stops. Terminal 3 for Low Cost Carriers (LCC) is by way of Terminal 2.

Although bus services are convenient as they are connected to major stations, hotels and other major spots, they are not wheelchair user friendly. The only exception is the “Yurakucho Shuttle” of Keisei Bus, which operates six round trips with buses with a lift for wheelchair users. But it is not so convenient as the buses go to Kajibashi parking near Yurakucho Station.Bus stops are located on the first floor outside the arrival lobby of each terminal. Ticket counters are also in the lobby (see information for each terminal).
JR and Keisei Electric Railway provide services from Narita Airport. Train stations are located in the basement of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 (see information for each terminal).
Wheelchair users would have no concerns about using restrooms as there are many multipurpose restrooms in Narita Airport. My best recommendation is to use the multipurpose restroom at the International Arrival Lobby on the 1st floor of Terminal 2. It is spacious and has enough equipment such as bidet functions. I found two multipurpose restrooms in the ladies’ room at the restaurant and shopping area (the Airport Mall) on the 4th floor of Terminal 2. However, the multipurpose restrooms at the International Departure Lobby on the 3rd floor of Terminal 2 are still somewhat old-style. I would like to expect them to be refurbished in the future. The multipurpose restrooms in Terminal 3 are clean and well-equipped because it is the newest building. I can say the multipurpose restrooms in Terminal 1 are also easy to use. It might be challenging for wheelchair users to use a lavatory during a flight. You would be relieved to use the multipurpose restrooms in Narita Airport as you leave or arrive at Japan.
There are 3 terminals at Haneda Airport. It is necessary to move to the domestic terminal if you need to transfer over. A shuttle bus is available between each of the terminals and you can take the buses with wheelchairs.
