Shibamata Taishakuten Temple

Shibamata Taishakuten Temple was founded in 1692 and is located in Shibamata, Tokyo. The temple is famous for its wooden decorative carvings. The approach between Shibamata Station and the Taishakuten Temple retains the vibrant traditional shop street. Visitors can enjoy eating Japanese snacks along the street. The Taishakuten Temple is also famous for the film series Otoko wa tsurai yo (It’s Tough Being a Man).
