Akihabara
Akihabara is well known as the area selling electric appliances and electronics goods, and now the center of pop culture. There are small shops dealing with small parts for geeky customers as well as mass retailers with large parking lots providing space for wheelchair users resulting in the improved accessibility in this neighborhood. Although the nearest Akihabara Station (JR) is still complicated, it is becoming access-friendly as elevators are installed. Wheelchair users are easy to get around in mass retailers, and more stores are staffed with foreign language speakers.
