Most of the paths in the precinct is covered with gravel. There is a long stairs in front of the main hall and it is not accessible for wheelchair users to go up but you can enjoy other halls and buildings and the lotus pond on the flat area.

Wheelchair Accessibility
The main hall is not accessible for wheelchair users because of the stairs.
You can enter the main entrance, but the other entrances are not accessible by wheelchair because of the stairs.

Access
Walk from Kamakura Sta.
If you take a pedestrian walk called "Dankazura" from Kamakura station to the shrine, there are a few stairs at the entrance (where Torii gate is located). It is difficult to go by a wheelchair, but there is a by-path using crosswalk.
Time required 15 minutes walk from Kamakura station.
