Jufukuji is the third ranked of the Kamakura Gozan (Five) Temples. Masako HOJO, wife of Yoritomo MINAMOTO, built this temple after her husband's death. The temple is not so easy to access. The main gate has a number of steps in front but there is a slope at the side. The stone pavement to the main building is not so easy to access for wheelchair users. Masako HOJO's tomb, which is a sightseeing spot at the rear of the temple, is not accessible for wheelchair users due to the stairs.

Access
Walk from Kamakura Sta.
From West exit of Kamakura station, walk towards the city office. Go right at the corner of the city office and then go along the road and it reaches Jufukuji. The road has no sidewalk.
Time required 10 minutes walk from Kamakura station.
