Fieldwork Hotaruna Cruise

Daiba Report(2)

There is also a wheelchair accessible toilet next to the ticket office of the Tokyo Cruise

This is the “HOTALUNA” vessel which has been built to Matsumoto Reiji’s design.

Getting Onboard HTARUNA

You can find a wheelchair position by the entrance astern of the vessel which is a bit away from the main cabin.

There is no wheelchair access to the main cabin. Only four steps but inaccessible. You need to get out from a wheelchair to move to the main cabin. Wish it would be barrier-free.

There is a wheelchair accessible toilet on the vessel which looks also stylish.

Luckily the weather turned out fine on that day. You can enjoy the cruise passing under 15 bridges during the 45 minute cruise.

Barrier-free access is available when you get on and off the vessel.

Group photo opportunity at the destination, Asakusa pier, near Asakusa subway stations (G19/A18).
