This time, we introduce the accessibility features of the hotels in the Yokohama area.
Moving space of the wheel chair accessible rooms
There is a wide space of about 160 by 160 cm on the right side of the bed, the passage at the opposite side is narrow.
Facilities in the bathroom
This hotel have hot water washing toilets and they have a control panel on the toilet seat surface.
Handrails for the bath tub are provided and there is a space to sit down at the head side edge.
The taps of the washbasin between the two hotels are different; cold water and hot water, mixing. Both hotels are also equipped with a handle. Both hotels also feature emergency bells in the low positions in the bathroom
Equipment in the bedroom
The beds have a height of approximately 50cm.
Bedside control panels and electric curtain switches are equipped.
The room doors open towards the inside of the room. The bathroom door slides to the left or right. Both doors open to the width of 80cm.
Elevator
The wheelchair-accessible elevator has the control panel for wheelchair users at the lower part of the door.
